May 3rd Sunday Roundtable Features Former Penske Engineers

Join us at 1 PM on Sunday, May 19 for our 3rd Sunday Roundtable featuring the “Sprint Car Engine Evolution” with John Houp and Chuck Cornelison.

John and Chuck will share stories from their own careers with Penske Racing as well as their perspectives on the high costs of racing and the future development of the sport.

The former Penske employees with discuss the history of the sprint car engine from the early 1960s to the present.

They will explain the design changes and technological evolution of racing engines from the Offy, to the Chevrolet small block V-8, to the present.

Their discussion will highlight the various engines on display throughout the Eastern Museum.
